About Dr. Lam 關於林醫生
Dr. Phoebe Lam is being trained as a clinician-scientist with research focus on ophthalmology. She read a BSc in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with First Class Honors, and was awarded HKUST Outstanding Student and The Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust Scholarship. She then completed her medical training (MBBS) at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) with two distinctions, and received Dr Mary Hui Ling Li Memorial Scholarship, Digby Memorial Scholarships, Mrs Carven Lau Scholarships, among others. After graduation, she interned at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Prince of Wales Hospital.
林倬琳醫生正受訓成為一名臨床眼科醫生兼科學家。她以一級榮譽在香港科技大學理學院獲得生物化學及細胞生物學理學士學位，並獲頒香港科技大學傑出學生以及劉鑾雄慈善信託獎學金。她隨後在香港大學（HKU）完成醫學培訓（MBBS），期間兩度取得優異成績，也曾獲頒李惠玲博士紀念獎學金、迪格比紀念獎學金、劉嘉文女士獎學金等。畢業後，她曾在威爾斯親王醫院眼科與視覺科學系擔任實習醫生。
Research and Social Services 研究及社會服務
Dr. Lam is the recipient of the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Award, Top Ten Outstanding Youths as elected by the Commission on Youth in Hong Kong, and Outstanding Red Cross Youth. She served as the Music Director and volunteer at the Hong Kong Society for the blind, and was awarded Volunteer Service Award (Silver) by the Hong Kong Social Welfare Department. Upon receiving the Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce Rayson Huang Memorial Student Enrichment Award, she pursued exchange courses on Clinical Research in the Sciences (Pediatrics) and Clinical Medicine at the Bedside (Pediatrics) at The University of British Columbia. Before she joined HKU, she was invited by the Hong Kong Urological Association to give research presentations at their Annual Scientific Meeting; the research video she co-authored with the Urology Team of New Territories East Cluster was also awarded the Second Video Prize by the European Association of Urology. Now at the Department of Ophthalmology at HKU, she actively participates in the Southern District population-based study on glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, and the free glaucoma screening program in collaboration with the charitable organization Orbis.
林醫生曾獲頒創新科技獎學金，並獲香港青年委員會評選為十大傑出青年，也獲選傑出紅十字青年。她曾在香港盲人輔導會擔任音樂總監及義工，並獲香港社會福利署頒發義工服務獎（銀獎）。她獲得潮州商會黃瑞信紀念獎學金後，遠赴了英屬哥倫比亞大學完成臨床科學研究（兒科）和床邊臨床醫學（兒科）的交流課程。在加入香港大學之前，她曾獲香港泌尿外科學會邀請在其年度科學會議上發表研究報告；而她與新界東聯網泌尿外科團隊合著的研究影片亦獲歐洲泌尿外科協會頒發影片獎亞軍。於香港大學眼科學系任職後，她致力參與以南區人口為對象之青光眼和老年黃斑病變研究，以及與慈善組織奧比斯合作的免費青光眼篩查計劃。
Clinical Services and Teaching 臨床服務與教學
Dr. Lam currently provides clinical services at Queen Mary Hospital and Grantham Hospital, and teaches at the HKU Eye Centre. She teaches basic anatomy of the eye at clinical attachment programs, and conducts problem-based tutorials on fundus photo interpretations, acute visual loss, red eye, and neuro-ophthalmology.
林醫生現時在瑪麗醫院和葛量洪醫院提供臨床服務，並在香港大學眼科中心提供教學。她負責在臨床實習項目中教授基礎解剖學，並帶領有關眼底照片解讀、急性視力損失、紅眼和神經眼科等議題的小組學術討論。
